Size
The Senator Atrium is 2,794 square feet. Banquet seating maximum capacity is 182 persons while reception maximum occupancy is 300 persons. Additional equipment, such as a stage or dance floor, will vary the maximum occupancy.

Monday - Friday 5:30 p.m. - 12:00 midnight
Saturday - Sunday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 midnight
Reservations
A tentative hold may be placed for one week. All events must be booked at least 45 days prior to the event date. In order for your event to be booked on the calendar, The Building Management Office must receive your signed rental agreement, 50 percent (50%) of the total rental fee, plus the security deposit. The balance of the rental fee is due at least 30 days prior to the event.

Cancellation
If an event is canceled less than 30 days prior to the event date, the renter will forfeit all rental fees. If an event is canceled more than 30 days but less than six (6) months prior to the event date, Senator Building, LLC will retain fifty percent (50%) of the total rental fees.
Security Deposit
Management ensures that the facility will be thoroughly clean before and after your event. Renter’s cleaning deposit is fully refundable unless cleaning procedures go beyond the normal scope of maintenance required, repairs or replacement is required or the event does not meet contractual terms.
Insurance
The signed Renter of the Atrium must, at the Renter’s expense, provide the Building Management Office with a current Certificate of Insurance (COI) 30 days prior to the event date with the correct additional insureds named on an attached endorsement page. A COI can be obtained from your local insurance agency. The COI policy must provide comprehensive general liability insurance coverage with a combined single limit of liability not less than One Million and No/100 Dollars (1,000,000.00). The policy must insure all personal property of the Renter and of those attending the event. An insurance information sheet will be provided with a completed contract. A COI is required for each vendor.
Catering/Miscellaneous Vendors
Event Architects is a full service event planning company that has been in business since 1996. They specialize in weddings, corporate and social events, and are equipped to manage every facet of your event.
Event Architects provides catering and will be happy to provide you with menus and pricing. If you choose, Event Architects can also provide you with a list of preferred vendors (caterers, Disc Jockeys, etc.). However, the Renter may use a licensed vendor of his or her own choice by providing an additional refundable security deposit of $250.00 per vendor. All vendors must provide liability insurance.
Alcoholic Beverages
Caterers and/or bartenders must provide liquor liability insurance as well as a copy of their liquor license 30 days prior to the event.

Layout
The Atrium location does not provide any equipment except a podium with a microphone if requested. The Management Office will work with the client to establish a written floor plan.
Decorations
Before the event, all decorations must be approved by The Building Management Office. Please see the function guideline list for further information.
Entertainment
All entertainers need to confirm the use of electrical outlets with the Building Management Office one week prior to the event. Please see function guideline list.
Parking
The Senator Atrium main entrance is located at 1121 L Street. Metered parking is located on L Street and is enforced from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday. The nearest parking garage is located next door at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at 1209 L Street. Public parking garages are located on the streets 10th & L, 11th & J and 13th & J.
